October is Cyber Security Awareness Month

Ransomware is a type of malware that prevents or limits users from accessing their system, by “locking” systems and files until a ransom is paid.  Malicious actors then demand ransom in exchange for decryption. Ransomware actors often target and threaten to sell or leak stolen data if the ransom is not paid. These attacks are on the rise and are grabbing headlines. Join Rebecca Janutis and Kelly Neumann from Kohl’s to learn more about this ongoing threat and what you can do to protect yourself and your data.
