About the Panelists:
Deepti Suri: Deepti Suri is one of the very few IT professionals that can straddle the world of Corporate America as well as Academia with ease. She received her undergraduate degree in Computer Science (CS) from India and MS and Ph.D. in Computer Science from UWM. Prior to returning to the corporate world, she as a faculty member is the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE) where she served as the Program Director of the Software Engineering (SE) program for 5 years. She currently works as the Director of Cloud Infrastructure DevOps, Automation, and DBA Services at Footlocker. She also serves as an IAC representative for the CS program at MSOE.
Li Jacobson: Li has 15+ years of experience in Technology, with a focus on IT strategic planning and execution, and has held progressive leadership positions since joining Kohl’s in 2012. Prior to Kohl’s, she spent a decade with Northwestern Mutual, where she provided integral large program management and deployment, to multi-year technology initiatives, including contract negotiations, strategic roadmapping, program delivery, & cross-functional team management. She holds an MBA from Marquette University.
Heather Mansfield Ph.D - For the past 16 years, Heather has been overseeing the strategic planning for academic operations and leading a staff of 52 educators from across the generational spectrum at Divine Savior Holy Angels High School. As the Academic Dean, Heather leverages problem solving, data analysis and research to create a comprehensive and effective curricula balancing students’ needs and education requirements. Heather is passionate about building leaders of tomorrow, diversity and inclusion and is a frequent speaker at local, regional and national conferences.
