Our Mentorship Program is a transformative initiative designed to connect female students with experienced technology professionals. Through mentorship and guidance, this program equips students with the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to excel in their educational and career journeys.

Program Details

Next Mentorship Cohort: October – December 2026

Program Experience 

Participants engage in a structured 8-week journey that includes: 

6 guided mentoring conversations focused on: 
    • Career exploration 
    • Networking 
    • Self-awareness 
    • Skills & leadership development 
    • Workplace readiness 
    • Balance and wellbeing 
2 real-world WiT engagement events 
    • Attend a WiT event (Sip n Sync, Campus Pop up, etc.) 
    • Practice networking with professionals 
Community Connection 
    • Attend the WiT Holiday Party or regional event 
    • Build lasting connections within the WiT network 

What Mentees Gain  

    • Increased confidence and career clarity 
    • Exposure to real-world technology roles and pathways 
    • A meaningful professional connection with a WiT mentor 
    • Expanded professional network

Program Structure 

  • Duration: 8 weeks (Fall cohort) 
  • Format: 1:1 mentorship + WiT events; in person and virtual 
  • Cohort Size: 15–20 mentees 
  • Mentors: WiT members and industry professionals
